Made by McGill M. P. Co., Marengo, Ill. Called the “Paragon Changer”. This holds quarters dimes and nickels.  Push the small lever down next the coin tube, and the appropriate coin slides out the bottom. This measures about 5 inches wide, 3 ¼ inches tall, and 1 5/8 inches thick. Made entirely of chromed metal. There are two hooks on the back for attaching to the front of your trousers, or belt. AS the photos show, there is some surface rust to some of the metal. Still looks good and works fine.
These were used by small item vendors, street car conductors, ice cream truck people, newspaper boys, etc.
